It seems my only option is to expose Ambria to my beliefs as well even though this is against my better judgment. I have also considered introducing her to all the wacky religions of the present and the past so she can see the overall lack of critical evaluation people seem to exhibit after they have picked a religion. I don't know what else to do. I also want to expose the arbitrary nature of people's choice of one particular religion over another.

Re: What I learned about divorce

Cohabitation is much simpler. At the very least, the issue is more likely to be seen in this way within the United States. Also, consider the viewpoint from their perspective that the mother and her family are not merely teaching the child, but saving her, admitting her into grace. Regardless of court decision, it is unlikely they will terminate such a spiritual mission in the face of perceived godless, hell bound intruders.

Re: What I learned about divorce

Even though it is a pain in the ass, it's often better than the alternative.

Re: What I learned about divorce

One thing I learned about divorce is DON'T DO IT!

Re: The Challenges of Atheist Co-parenting

Thanks for the comment. The only distinction that seems to be made popularly between cults and religions is size. The more adherents a religious system has, the more likely it is real. Thusly, it cannot be called a cult because that has negative connotations. Cults are the same as mainstream religions but with fewer followers which may allow them to be more fanatical because they have fewer people to sway. Mainstream religions are the cults of the past that caught on. Some of the cults of today will be mainstream religions in a few hundred years or less.

Re: The Challenges of Atheist Co-parenting

I understand what you are saying it is hard to be atheist or for that matter agnostic in the right winged south. I also see how the close minded religions usually close off any other form of thinking. To me if someone is religious thats fine but the second you shield oneself from other thinking it no longer a faith be a cult. I am myself agnostic do to the fact that on can believe but never know anything. well just my thought on the blog stay cool

Re: Hypermiling update: Consistent results without hardcore hypermiling

Thank you for the flattering opportunity! It's a fantastic application by the folks behind Transmit, a great FTP app. Both are for Mac only.<br><br>Let me know if you have any questions about using Django!

Re: Curious about Django

Good luck with Django - it's a lovely framework. And I would recommend you to check out the book: Python Phrasebook ( ISBN-13: 978-0672329104 ). A well written, simple book that gives you the code phrases you need in almost every Python - or Django - project :)

Re: Curious about Django

Wow!
